Zavala holds a B.F.A. in Communication Design and has worked in the creative field for ten years. He is especially interested in culture, marginalised groups, and the environment. See more of his work at sjzavala.com.

- The session is 1 hour and 30 minutes long.
- There will be a short intro on botanical drawing and finding inspiration in nature.

- There will also be images of plants provided for anyone who needs it.
- A warm-up with some brief exercises.
- A longer session to draw/paint/write about the plant you are focusing on.
- We will then share our work and see what others have done.
