Queer Botany Guided Walks at Walthamstow Wetlands

I led a Queer Botany Guided Walk at Walthamstow Wetlands exploring connections between queerness and nature earlier this month. We shared stories about plants from folklore, science, and history. I designed a new illustrated map of the Wetlands showing locations of plants in the area with interpretations from a queer perspective. The map was given out to participants. The event was a special collaboration between Waltham Forest Pride 2026, London Wildlife Trust, and Queer Botany for Pride.
